At the heart of the Sheikh Zayed Festival in Abu Dhabi, Al Wathba, our company is proud to have played a vital role in delivering the essential infrastructure that powers this world-class cultural event. The festival, renowned for its celebration of heritage, innovation, and community, required a robust and reliable utility backbone to support its diverse activities and large-scale installations.

Our Scope of WorkAs part of the infrastructure package, our team successfully executed critical utility and civil works, ensuring seamless connectivity and operational efficiency across the festival grounds. Our scope included:

  • Construction of Manholes – Designed and installed to meet stringent engineering standards, providing safe and accessible underground utility connections.
  • Installation of Ducts – Structured duct networks laid out to accommodate future expansion and ensure durability under heavy festival operations.
  • Cable Works – Comprehensive cabling solutions implemented to support electrical distribution, lighting, and communication systems throughout the site.
  • Interlock Paving – High-quality interlock works carried out to create durable, aesthetically pleasing walkways and service areas.
  • Curbstone Installation – Precision placement of curbstones to define pathways, enhance safety, and ensure proper drainage.
  • Excavation and Backfilling – Careful excavation and engineered backfilling executed to prepare the site for utility networks while maintaining ground stability.

Every stage of the project was carried out with precision, compliance, and attention to detail. Our engineers and project managers coordinated closely with stakeholders to ensure that all works adhered to regulatory requirements and safety standards, while meeting the tight timelines of the festival’s preparation.
